Remember when coworking spaces actually had reliable wifi?

I was at Capitol Factory yesterday trying to join a Zoom call with a VC, and the internet dropped three times in 15 minutes. What happened to the days when you could count on at least the basics being solid in these places?

lmaoo the "is he driving?" part killed me 😂 that's rough. I had almost the exact same thing happen at Industrious downtown last month. I was mid sentence explaining my revenue model to an angel and the whole room just stared at me while I tried to reconnect. Ended up standing by the front door holding my laptop up like it was a cell phone trying to find signal. Coworking spaces really need to figure out their internet before they start charging $400 a month for a desk.

My buddy runs a small tech startup out of WeWork in Austin and he told me last week he had to take a pitch meeting in his car because the wifi crapped out on him. He was sitting in the parking lot with his laptop propped on the steering wheel trying to get a good signal from his phone hotspot. Said it took him ten minutes just to get connected and the investor kept asking if he was driving.

Yeah standing by the door like that is ridiculous for 400 bucks a month.
