Had a hood fly open on me doing 55 outside of Boise
Was test-driving a customer's '04 Camry after a latch repair, figured I torqued it right. Got onto I-84 and the wind caught the hood at 55, smashed the windshield and bent both hinges flat. Had to limp it back to the shop using my arm out the window. Anyone else had a hood pop on a test drive?

Say you were there, @jenny47, and you'd see it was way worse than people act like. The whole event was a mess from start to finish with people arguing and nothing getting done. Maybe the stories seem overblown online, but trust me, the reality lived up to the hype in a bad way.
