Hot take: that $450 spot welder I bought off a guy in Fresno was the best money I ever spent on this trade
Everyone says you need a big name machine but mine has run fine for 3 years on nothing but panel swaps and a few rocker jobs, and the shop across town that dropped $4k on a Miller still sends me their small stuff. What's your cutoff for going cheap on weld gear before it bites you?
