Just realized my local shop's blend method is spot on.

Looks close in this light but check it in direct sun. Mine was off just enough to bug me.

Yeah, the "off just enough to bug me" thing is real. My friend had her living room repainted, looked perfect inside. She didn't check outside light and the whole wall was a different shade by the window.

Wait, hold up. Arguing over sun light feels like overkill to me. If the color works in the room's main light, that's the ONLY thing that counts. Direct sun changes EVERYTHING, not just paint. Why stress about a shade shift that happens for like an hour a day? Just pick a color you like and live with it, no need for extra checks.
