My simple drip irrigation took 4 Saturdays to finish

Had this vision of a quick weekend project. Just run some tubing to the raised beds. Easy, right? I bought the wrong fittings twice, had to dig up a root that was in the way, and my main line kinked because I stepped on it. Four weekends later I had the whole thing working. Anyone else's "afternoon project" turn into a month long thing?

Dude, same here. Thought it'd be an easy Saturday, took like three weekends instead.

I finally gave up and watched a three hour YouTube walkthrough, that saved my sanity. Found out I was skipping a whole section because I didn't notice a hidden door behind a bookcase. After that it only took one more weekend to wrap up the remaining quests.

Oh man, the kinked main line hits close to home. I spent a whole afternoon trying to fix a drip line that kept spraying sideways, only to realize my cat had chewed a hole in it while I was at work. Then I tried to patch it with electrical tape and it just bulged out like a balloon. By the time I got proper connectors from the hardware store, my tomatoes were already drooping. Four Saturdays sounds like a win compared to that mess.
