Tried using leftover coffee grounds in my garden beds and the results were wild
I started dumping my morning coffee grounds around my azaleas about three weeks ago, thinking it might help with acidity. Not only did the plants look greener, but I swear the slugs completely vanished from that area. Has anyone else tried this and seen a similar pest control effect?

Tbh I gotta back up what you're saying about slugs vanishing. I tried the same thing on my hostas last year and the difference was night and day. But I think a lot of people get it wrong by just tossing wet grounds on top. You gotta spread them out thin and let them dry first so they form that gritty barrier slugs hate crawling over. Also I found it works better if you refresh them every few days after rain, otherwise the grounds just turn into a soggy mess and lose their effect. Ngl I was skeptical at first but now I keep a dedicated coffee can next to my coffee maker just for the garden.
