Warning about those cheap composite decking boards from the big box store
I'm out about $1200 after the boards on my new deck started warping and fading in less than a year, so what's a better brand that actually holds up?

Oof, that's rough. Honestly, it's not always the store brand that's the problem, it's the specific line. Those bargain bin boards are basically sawdust and glue. You gotta check the warranty and the core. Solid polymer or capped polymer holds up way better. I learned that the hard way with some planters.

My deck last year had the same issue with those cheap capped boards. The warranty said 25 years but the core was basically cardboard filler. I switched to a solid polymer line and the difference is night and day.

Yep, solid core is the only way to go.
