Bought a $300 clipper off a random site and it died after 2 weeks

I found some site selling a brand name clipper for $300, thought I was getting a deal. Showed up a week late and worked fine for 13 days, then the motor just stopped mid cut. Tried to get a refund and the site disappeared completely. Anyone else get burned by one of those scam barber supply stores?

Can't believe that site just vanished like that. That is so shady I can't even wrap my head around it. You paid three hundred bucks for something that barely lasted two weeks and then the whole store just disappears into thin air. That has to be some kind of crime, right? I hope you used a credit card so you can do a chargeback.

Wait, so the website just evaporated like a fart in the wind? That's some next level disappearing act, like they pulled a magic trick but forgot the part where anyone gets their money back. I almost have to respect the hustle of setting up a whole fake store for a few sales, but man, $300 for two weeks of haircut is a pricey lesson. At least you can tell people you bought the world's most expensive temporary clipper, sort of like renting one from a very shady pawn shop.

Buy a clipper from a supply house next time... way more reliable.
