Brand new clipper stopped cutting mid neckline on a walk-in today

I'm talking it literally just locked up and started smoking 2 minutes into a zero fade, had to finish with my backup that needs new blades. Anyone else have a tool crap out on them at the worst possible moment?

Gotta love when a tool picks the absolute worst second to die on you. Idk, maybe it's just me but stuff like that always happens when you're in the middle of something, not when you've got time to fix it.

New clipper locked up and started smoking mid-fade? That thing didn't just die, it threw a tantrum and took a swing at your whole day. Sounds like the universe wanted to test your backup blade skills on the spot. At least you didn't have to finish with a pair of kitchen scissors and a prayer.
