Client walked out mid-fade over a $5 price difference
Last month in Austin, a regular of 3 years asked why I raised my cut from $35 to $40. I explained rent went up, same as everywhere. He sat through the first pass, then stood up with half a fade and said he'd find someone cheaper. I checked my books that night, he'd been late to 4 of his last 6 appointments anyway. Has anyone else had a client ghost over a few bucks, and do you hold your rate or work something out?
