Client's gray hair turned orange after 2 weeks, here's what fixed it
Did a color correction today on a guy who'd been using box dye for 6 years. His silver came out brassy orange because he kept layering products without stripping buildup. I used a clarifying treatment with vitamin C powder first, then a toner with blue pigment. Anyone else run into this with long-term box dye users?

Copper in box dyes can actually trigger allergic reactions years later. Rare but real.
