Clipper blade shattered mid-haircut yesterday
Was doing a fade on a regular and my Andis blade just cracked right in half while I was lining up his neck. Had to finish the whole cut with my trimmers and a straight razor, took twice as long. Anyone ever had a blade just explode on them like that?

@daniel140 probably said it best honestly - tools break all the time but at least you didn't get hurt. Finishing with a trimmer and straight razor is stressful but way better than a trip to urgent care.

Man, don't you just love when your tools decide to quit mid-fade like that? At least it wasn't your hand that cracked in half.

Disagree a little. If my clippers die mid-fade I'm already sweating, but a cracked hand sounds like a whole different level of bad day. Tools break, hands don't grow back.
