Cut a kid's ear three years ago and it still haunts me when I see a squirmy 8 year old walk in

I was at Barber Lounge in Austin, had this little dude jerking his head around while I was doing his fade, and instead of stopping I tried to push through it - now I always lock eyes with the parent first and say we're taking a breather if the kid can't hold still, anyone else got a similar horror story they can't shake?

Man I gave a toddler a complete Mohawk by accident once. Pure panic.

Used to think toddlers were bulletproof, hair-wise (like you couldn't mess it up) until I saw a friend's kid with a weird bald patch and felt pure secondhand panic. Total respect for @jade_jenkins navigating that crisis live.
