Had a Tuesday last week where 9 walk-ins in a row all wanted the exact same fade, and I'm still thinking about it
I run a two chair place in Fresno and most days it's a mix of tapers, beard trims, and kids cuts, but last Tuesday every single person who sat down pointed at the same picture on their phone. By the fourth guy I was basically on autopilot and it made me realize how much of my skill I wasn't even using that day. Does this happen to you guys too, or was it just some weird algorithm thing pushing one haircut to everyone in my zip code?
Nine in a row is insane. I could see three, maybe four if there's a game or a wedding in town, but nine guys all pointing at the same phone pic on a random Tuesday in Fresno? That tells me some app shoved that cut in front of everybody at once. Was it the same barber's video every time, like some guy with a million views doing that low taper? Cause if so, that's the algorithm running your books for you.
