Just realized my old boss was right about thinning shears on curly hair

He always said to use them dry, not wet, and after trying it on a client last week, the shape held way better. Anyone else have a specific rule that seemed weird but actually works?

Yeah the "do it dry, not wet" thing is so real. It's like a lot of those weird little rules end up being the most important ones lol.

@ruby_henderson36 what's your weirdest rule that actually works?

My old barber told me to never cut curly hair on a Monday (I still don't know why, but I follow it anyway).

I still cut my own hair dry and it looks like a lawnmower hit it, so maybe stick with your boss's advice.
