Sticking to my guns on sanitizing tools felt right until a buddy's shop got cited.

I was strict about cleaning, but hearing about his fine showed me it's not just about rules. How do you balance safety with keeping your schedule on track?

Have you considered how a clean shop might actually speed up work by reducing mistakes?

Reducing mistakes to speed up work never made sense to me. I focused on finding tools quickly, but a messy area led to using the wrong part once. That error showed me how cleaning cuts down on do-overs.

Actually, a clean shop helps for sure, but it's MORE about finding tools fast. Less clutter means less time wasted looking for stuff.

Ever spend more time cleaning than actually working? Sometimes a little mess means you know exactly where everything is.
