Switched from detachable to a fixed blade after 6 months
I used a detachable blade clipper for 2 years but kept losing power halfway through a head. Tried a Wahl Legend fixed blade on a recommendation from a guy in Dallas and it cut my time by 15 minutes a head. Has anyone else had better luck with one type over the other for heavy bulk removal?

You ever try buzzing a friend's head with one of those detachables that dies halfway through? My buddy Matt ended up with this weird mohawk situation and had to finish with scissors in his bathroom mirror. He switched to a fixed blade the next day and swears he'll never go back.

Man, that's rough @dakota415, I've seen that exact disaster happen to a buddy too and it's never pretty.
