That one Saturday in March where everything clicked
I had this weird Saturday back in March where I booked 12 cuts and finished every single one before 2 PM. Usually I'm scrambling with walk-ins and my last guy always shows up late, but that day the flow was perfect. No clipper snags, no one asked for something crazy, and my fade game was just on point the whole time. Have yall ever had a shift like that where it felt like you couldn't miss?

That 12 cuts before 2 PM story reminds me of something I've noticed over the years. Those perfect days usually come when you stop trying so hard and just let your hands do the work. @michaeltorres's friend Marcus having a quiet shop that day makes sense too - the energy in a room can really set the pace for how things go. I've had a few Saturdays like that myself where everything lined up and I just knew to enjoy it while it lasted.

Yeah exactly, I've noticed those days happen when I stop overthinking and just trust my hands... @michaeltorres's friend Marcus quiet shop story really hits home, that calm energy lets you get in a zone where everything flows right without forcing it.

My buddy Marcus had a day like that at his shop in Austin. He said he did 14 haircuts before noon without breaking a sweat. One guy came in wanting a skin fade with a hard part and Marcus nailed it on the first try. Usually he has to redo those lines like three times. He said the whole shop felt quiet and chill that day. He still talks about it six months later.
