Warning: A 30-year shop owner in Fresno said stop buying cheap clippers, and my wrist paid for ignoring him
Back in March this older barber down the street from my shop saw me unboxing a $40 pair of clippers and just shook his head. He said cheap motors run hot and you fight them with your hand all day. I brushed it off, figured he was just old school. Three months later my right wrist is shot and I'm icing it every night. Bought a decent pair two weeks ago and the difference is nuts. Any of you get told something by an old timer that you blew off and then had to eat crow over?
