Hot take: I finally got a Park Tool T-handle torque wrench and it's a game changer for carbon parts

After a close call last month with a seatpost clamp, I realized my old beam-style wrench just wasn't cutting it for consistent 5 Nm readings. Anyone else have a favorite torque tool they swear by for the shop?

Guess you learned the hard way that carbon and guesswork don't mix.

Ouch, @the_jana, what exactly went wrong?

Wait, it wasn't carbon fiber. It was a regular fiberglass panel that got cut wrong. The template was off by like half an inch, so nothing lined up. Total waste of material.

Oh man, that's rough. Losing a whole panel to a half inch template error hurts, especially with how expensive materials are right now. We've all been there with measurements going sideways, but it still stings every time.
