One Saturday in Tucson where every bike somehow had a seized seatpost

I had three separate customers roll in last weekend, all with stuck seatposts, and the third one was a 30 year old steel frame that took 2 hours of penetrating oil and a pipe wrench to free. Anyone else have a day where one problem just follows you around?

WD-40 and prayers, man. That creaking sound when you finally break it loose is the sweetest music though. Had a dropout snap on me once from twisting too hard, learned that lesson the hard way. Frames are finicky like that, they hold grudges.
