PSA: I always thought chain lube was just chain lube, but a video from Park Tool showed me the real difference between wet and dry.

They explained that wet lube can actually attract more grit in dry conditions, which I saw firsthand after my chain got gunky on a dusty trail last month. Anyone have a favorite dry lube for summer riding?

Oh man, I feel that. My chain was a total mess last summer for the same reason.

Agree, wrong lube for the weather kills chains quick.

Totally see that happening, like @jackson.faith said, it's a classic case of using the wrong tool for the job.

Wait, your chain was messed up for a whole summer? How did you even ride your bike?
