Rant: This creaky bottom bracket on my commuter bike is driving me nuts

Honestly, I've cleaned and regreased it three times now but the sound just comes back, so is there something obvious I'm missing here?

Tightened every bolt on my chainring first, that's usually the culprit. If that doesn't work, check if your pedals are loose, mine made a click with every rotation. Last thing I found was a slightly loose headset, just enough to creak on bumps. Took me three tries but finally got it quiet.

My seat post was making that noise until I greased it. @milesk27, hope you find your click soon, it's the worst sound.

Greasing the post is a quick fix, but that click usually means something's actually loose, right?
