That $15 spoke tension gauge I doubted, now I use it every build
Picked up a cheap tension meter off Amazon after a used wheel I trued kept going out of whack on the owner. Calibrated it against my Park Tool gauge and it was within 3%, close enough for shop work. Anyone else find budget tools that surprise them on the stand?

Calibrate it against a known good gauge and you're set for life.
