That Park Tool truing stand I bought for $180 was a waste when my cheap $40 hair tie trick works better
I spent good money on the TS-2.2 and still deal with wobble, but a rubber band around the fork blades lets me feel the high spot way faster - has anyone else ditched their fancy tools for some budget hack?

People act like losing a zip tie is up there with losing a house key. Like, calm down, you can just go buy a pack at the hardware store for five bucks. I get that it's annoying when you're in the middle of a project, but it's not a crisis. There are way bigger problems in the world than your bag staying a little unzipped for five minutes. Honestly, the drama around zip ties is kinda funny.
