Tried Park Tool's cheap cone wrench against a generic one from Amazon...

The Park Tool $8 wrench was way better at keeping my hub adjustment tight after 3 wheel rebuilds, but has anyone else had issues with the generic ones slipping on Shimano cones?

Generic ones are garbage honestly...

Fiona_west21 might be onto something there. Had an old Park Tool cone wrench that worked fine for years, but my buddy borrowed it once and came back with the tips all burred up. Now I just use a cheap Stanley set from the hardware store and they honestly strip less than the midrange stuff.

Third rebuild and my cheap cone wrench stripped a Shimano cone last month.
