Unpopular take: flat rate repair pricing is killing this trade and I stopped doing it at 500 jobs
I switched to hourly after my 500th flat rate ticket and my comeback rate dropped by half because I stopped rushing every bearing repack to beat the clock. Any other shop owners here make that switch and did your customers push back on the new pricing?
