Almost missed season 3 because of a stupid skip intro bug

I let the auto-skip intro keep rolling and it jumped past the first 8 minutes of an episode on Peacock, took me an hour of rewinding and checking timestamps to figure out the episode was actually broken. Has anyone else had a streaming app skip over actual show content instead of just the credits?

8 minutes is way too much to lose... I had Hulu do something similar with an episode of Only Murders and I felt like I was losing my mind trying to piece together what happened. That's super frustrating.

Honestly @charlescraig I think "losing your mind" is just Ruby being dramatic for effect, which is fair since 8 minutes is a lot. Missing that much in a mystery show would drive anyone nuts, you'd have to rewatch the whole thing to make sense of it.

Yeah I don't know @ruby_henderson36, I mean I get it's annoying but calling it "losing your mind" feels a little much. I've had streaming apps cut out on me before and yeah it's a bummer but usually you can just rewatch the part you missed or figure it out from context. Maybe it's just me but I think some people get way too worked up over little stuff like this.
