Appreciation post: my sister got me hooked on a show I swore I would hate, and now I am 7 seasons deep
Two weeks ago my sister sat me down at her place in Boise and made me watch the first episode of a show I had been avoiding for years because the fans online seemed annoying. She said, "Just give it 3 episodes, if you hate it I will never bring it up again." I rolled my eyes but agreed, and by episode 4 I was the one asking her to keep going. Turns out the slow first season is the whole point, and the payoff in season 2 is worth every boring scene. I finished all 7 seasons in 12 days, which is honestly embarrassing to type out. Now I need something new to fill the gap. What show did someone talk you into that you ended up loving?
