Debate: Binge watching one show at a time vs juggling 3-4 shows at once. I tried both and one wins by a mile.

Season 3 of The Expanse was my turning point. I used to be a strict one show at a time person because I was worried about forgetting details. But then I started mixing that with a comedy like The Good Place and a reality show just for background noise. Now I keep 2 or 3 going at once and it actually helps me get through the slow parts of longer series. Your mileage may vary but for me the juggling approach keeps me from burning out on any single show.

Oh man, totally get this! I hit the same wall with The Expanse actually. That show has so many layers that I found myself rewinding a lot until I started pairing it with lighter stuff. For me, doing a comedy like Brooklyn Nine-Nine in between heavy episodes kept my brain from getting fried. Now I bounce between a drama, a comedy, and sometimes a cooking show if I need pure background noise. It makes the slow worldbuilding episodes way easier to sit through because I've got something fun to switch to when my attention starts drifting.

Has anyone else had a friend who literally forgot a whole season of a show they were juggling? Asking for a friend's friend.
