Finally finished a 6 season show in one weekend and actually enjoyed it
I started watching The Expanse last Friday thinking I'd just watch a couple episodes. Ended up burning through all 6 seasons by Sunday night lol. I usually get bored around episode 5 of any series but something about the world building kept me going. What shows have you guys watched that actually held your attention all the way through?

YES this happened to me with Dark on Netflix. I went in expecting nothing and the mystery just hooked me episode after episode, I don't think I've ever been that glued to a show.

Did you ever read that article about how the showrunner wrote the whole three season arc before they even started filming? I read it somewhere and it makes so much sense because nothing feels random or thrown together. Every little detail feels like it was planned from the beginning, even the background stuff you don't notice until a rewatch. It's crazy how tight the story is compared to other mystery shows that just make it up as they go.

The way Dark layers those little details is something else... @emmaclark, that article hit the nail on the head. Every clock on the wall matches a specific date, the names of the characters connect across generations, it's all so deliberate. They even hide a 33-year cycle in the music and lighting. Just a perfect puzzle from start to finish.
