Tried blocking out a whole weekend once, still wasn't enough. Had to basically disappear for a month to get it done.

Yeah "clear your schedule" is the biggest joke, like telling someone to just hold their breath. I tried the weekend thing too and got maybe 10% done. @the_alice, it really does take going fully off the grid, I had to turn off all my notifications and tell people I was out of the country.
