My Netflix account got hacked last Friday and it showed me something weird
I logged in and my whole 'Continue Watching' was full of some Turkish soap opera called 'Kara Sevda'. I had to reset my password and call their support, which took about 45 minutes. It was a huge pain but now I'm kinda curious about the show that someone else was binging on my dime. Has anyone actually watched it and is it any good?

So you got a free trial of a Turkish drama thanks to some hacker... honestly that's a better deal than I usually get. I watched a few episodes after my cousin would not stop talking about it, and yeah, it pulls you in even when you tell yourself you won't cry. It's all about this doomed love story and family drama, and the music is weirdly good. I'm not saying you should thank the person who stole your account, but maybe just watch the first episode... you might get why they were using your Netflix.

Yeah, you're right about the music... I noticed that too, it's got this weird emotional punch that catches you off guard. But the thing @milam48 mentioned about getting hooked on a show you didn't pick yourself, that's actually how I've found a bunch of stuff I ended up loving. It's like when you accidentally overhear a conversation at a coffee shop and suddenly you're invested in some stranger's life story. There's something about not choosing it yourself that makes it hit different, like stumbling onto a hidden path instead of following the map.

It's actually a decent show, weirdly addictive.

Yeah but what makes it stick, @william_harris? The plot is wild but it's the small family moments that get me every time. I just finished an episode where they argued over breakfast for ten minutes and I was hooked.
