My whole weekend binge plan fell apart when my streaming app crashed
I had this perfect plan last Saturday to finally watch the new season of 'Shining Vale' on Starz. I made popcorn, got my blanket, and settled in around 7 PM. I clicked play and the app just froze on the loading screen. I tried everything, restarting my Roku, checking my internet, even uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Nothing worked for a solid hour. I ended up just staring at my phone, feeling totally lost without my show. It's funny how a dumb tech glitch can ruin your whole night. I guess I'm too used to everything just working. Has anyone else had a streaming service totally fail on them right when you were ready to watch?

Actually, staring at the phone is the default move when plans fall through. It's not about having no other options, it's about the mental shift. You gear up for a specific thing, and when it fails, your brain just goes blank for a minute. You're not really looking for a backup, you're just stuck being annoyed that your first choice got taken away. It happens to everyone.

Come on, was your whole night really ruined? It's just a TV show. Couldn't you have just read a book or put on a movie you already own instead of staring at your phone?

You're right, it's not the end of the world. But when you're all set up and in that specific mood for a show, the sudden stop is just super annoying. It throws off your whole vibe.
