PSA: I used to skip the opening credits on every show, now I watch them all
For years, I'd hit the 'skip intro' button the second it popped up, trying to get right into the story. Then I watched 'Severance' on Apple TV+ and the opening sequence was so weird and cool it actually pulled me in. I started letting the credits play on other shows and noticed how much they set the mood, like the creepy music for 'The Fall of the House of Usher'. It's been about six months since I made the switch, and it honestly makes starting a new episode feel more like an event. Has anyone else found a show where the intro is a must-watch part of the experience?

Totally get this now after watching Peacemaker. That intro is so ridiculous and fun it puts you in the perfect mood for the show. It really does make the whole thing feel more complete.

Oh man, the Severance intro is so unsettling in the best way. What was it about that one that finally made you stop hitting skip? Like, was it the music or just how weird the visuals were?

Honestly, skipping is still the move for most shows. A lot of intros just feel like filler after you've seen them once, like the generic ones on network procedurals. Tbh, my time is limited and I'd rather get to the actual story. Some are cool at first, but they get old fast. The skip button is a gift.
