Remember when we had to wait a whole week for the next episode?
Three years ago, my roommate and I would watch a new episode of The Mandalorian every Friday night, no exceptions. Last month, I watched the entire new season of Shogun in two days. It just feels different now, like the shared anticipation is gone. I miss talking about theories at work on Monday mornings after a cliffhanger. Does anyone else feel like binging has made shows less of a social event?

Ugh, I'm the worst, I binged it and spoiled everything for @spencer_park26.

Relate so hard to that feeling, I once finished a whole season before my friend even hit episode three. Spencer park26, you're a better person than me for not holding a grudge. The worst part is trying to pretend you don't know what's coming during their play by play. Honestly, the guilt of spoiling something almost ruins the show for me too.

Does the guilt ever make you enjoy the show less? I've found that rushing to finish something can sometimes ruin the fun of talking about it later, wells.zara. Maybe you both can find a new series to watch at the same pace.

Totally get that. Felt the same way when my friends all binged the latest show before I even started.
