Shoutout to that one episode of The Office that made me binge the whole thing

I always thought it was overhyped until my buddy made me watch the 'Dinner Party' episode. That cringe was so real I had to see what else I missed. Anyone else have a show they avoided until a single scene sucked them in?

The Dinner Party episode is a masterclass in awkward silences, that's for sure. It flipped a switch for me too, suddenly all the little character quirks made sense in a new way. Now I can't watch the Jim and Pam stuff the same way because I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Oh wow, wait. You said "the other shoe" and I just realized something. That vase! The one she calls a "reproduction" that Michael gives her. I always thought it was just another weird Jan thing but now I'm thinking... is it supposed to be like a symbol of their whole messed up relationship? Like this fake, fragile thing that's supposed to look nice but everyone knows is a total lie? And they just keep staring at it during those silences. Ugh, that makes it so much worse somehow.
