Stuck in a hotel during a blizzard in Buffalo and finally watched 'The Bear'
I'd avoided it because I thought it was just about cooking, but the tension in that kitchen felt so real. Ended up watching the whole first season in one night because I literally couldn't leave. What's a show you only watched because you were stuck somewhere?

Remember when everyone was obsessed with "Fleabag"? I thought it was just another sad comedy about a messy woman in London. Got stuck at my sister's place waiting for a tow truck with nothing but her Netflix login. That fourth wall break where she looks right at you after saying something awful? Completely hooked me. Finished both seasons before the tow truck even showed up.

Got stuck in an airport in Denver for 8 hours once and finally watched "Severance". I had heard people talk about it but never got around to it. That show is a complete mind trip from the very first scene. The weird office rules got under my skin so fast, I burned through like five episodes before my flight was even called. Being trapped just makes you commit to a show in a way you normally wouldn't.

Yeah it's like being forced to sit still unlocks a different mode. I get the same thing on long train rides or when my internet goes out. You pick up that book that's been on the nightstand for months and suddenly you're halfway through. There's something about having no other choice that makes you actually give something a real chance.

Wait, wasn't the first season of The Bear only eight episodes? How did you watch a whole season in one night, did they add more?
