Vent: My late night show binges are killing my gym motivation

Skipped my workout again cause I got sucked into a new series all evening.

Gotta disagree here, binging shows doesn't have to ruin gym time. I often watch episodes while on the treadmill or during rest breaks. It's all about mixing them together instead of keeping them separate. That way you get both entertainment and exercise without the guilt. Maybe try multitasking if you're struggling with motivation.

Hold up, that treadmill idea only works for cardio. You can't exactly watch a show while you're trying to lift heavy or focus on form without risking injury. Jenny_robinson has a point about shows messing with workout habits, because sometimes you just need to put the phone away and actually focus on the exercise. Multitasking sounds good but it makes both activities kinda half done. For some people, keeping them separate is the only way either one gets real attention.

Skipping workouts changed your view on shows? That's pretty shocking. I always figured entertainment and exercise were in different boxes. Makes me wonder what else I'm missing.
