Told my brother the truth about his $50k truck loan and we didn't talk for 6 weeks
He asked me to cosign last month and I said no, then told him a $700 payment on a $52k truck was going to eat him alive. We finally talked again last Tuesday and he admitted I was right, he's already behind 2 payments. Did anyone else have to burn a bridge for a few weeks to say the thing nobody wanted to hear?

Going behind on payments is a big deal, not just a rough patch. Cosigning would've put that mess on your credit too, so good call holding your ground.
