Feel for you hard on this one. I told my sister the ring her ex gave her looked like it came from a gumball machine and she got so quiet. It was just so tiny and crooked on the setting, I couldn't help blurt it out. She ended up selling it after the divorce anyway, but I still remember that silence every time I think of that night. You were probably just being real, and that's not something to beat yourself up over forever.

Nailed it. Told my best friend her bridesmaid dress looked like a tablecloth from a cheap restaurant. She laughed it off but I saw her eyes do that thing. Sometimes the truth just falls out before you can stop it.
