My library hold list backfired and now I owe $4.50 in late fees
Last month my coworker Dana at the Cedar Rapids library book club promised me that putting 12 books on hold at once would mean one would always land right when I finished the last. Nope. Seven of them came in the same Tuesday, and I couldn't renew any since other people were waiting. I read about 40 pages of each and now I'm out $4.50 in late fees with nothing finished. Does anyone else stack holds like this, or do you actually pace them out one at a time?
