Yeah, it's wild what people will air out in public. Reminds me of last summer at my cousin's barbecue. Her uncle and my dad got into it about lawn care, of all things, right by the grill. My aunt just started loudly asking who wanted peach cobbler, @matthewh15. Totally changed the mood. Sometimes you just need to throw a random, nice thing into the mix to reset everyone.

People get so worked up over stories that aren't even real... my buddy’s wife once cried because someone hated her favorite book character at a potluck. Just pass the potato salad and move on, you know?

When they bring that drama outside, I just laugh and ask who wants another burger. Shuts it down pretty quick lol.
