Our club in Boston had a huge fight about whether to count audiobooks as reading

It got so heated that we almost split the group. I suggested we try a hybrid month where half read the text and half listen, then compare notes. We did it with 'Project Hail Mary' and the discussion was way deeper than usual. Has anyone else found a way to bridge the audiobook vs. physical book divide without starting a war?

That sounds exhausting, honestly.

Tell you what, it's the pressure to keep it up that gets me. You see people online doing these perfect routines and feel like you have to match that energy every single day. It's just not real life. My cousin did the same thing, bought all the gear and everything. Lasted maybe six weeks before she was back to sleeping in and calling it self care. Sometimes simple is just better.

Yeah, my friend tried that whole thing last year and burned out in like a month. It really is as tiring as it looks, @luna_wright. She just gave up and went back to her old, simple routine.
