Our club picked a 900 page novel and only 2 people finished it, and I think the slow readers are right
I looked up our group's stats from the past year at the January meeting in Portland and the average book we actually finish discussing is 340 pages, yet we keep voting for doorstoppers because the loudest 3 members push them.
