Serious question, did it take anyone else 5 months to win one stupid argument about the ending of The Reluctant Fundamentalist?
Our club split 4 to 4 back in January over whether Changez's monologue at the cafe in Lahore was a confession or a performance, and we finally settled it last week only because our host pulled up an old interview where the author says he left it open on purpose, which honestly felt like cheating.
