The $60 library card that ended my 9 year book buying habit
I dropped almost $2,400 last year on new hardcovers. Most sat unread after the first chapter. Last month I finally got a library card for the downtown branch here in Nashville. Cost me $60 in late fees already, but I've read 7 books in 4 weeks. The real kicker is I can request any book through their app and it shows up in 3 days. Why did I fight this for so long? Has anyone else made the switch and felt stupid about the money they wasted?
