A guy in line at the DMV in Reno talked for 20 minutes about cutting off his brother over a truck, and the part that stuck with me was how calm he was
He kept saying he did not yell or write a letter, he just stopped calling back around Thanksgiving 2021 and that was it. I always thought ending a family tie had to come with a big fight, but he sounded more tired than angry. Do you all think a quiet fade-out hurts more or less than the blowup version?
