Shoutout to the buddy who told me I was wrong about my ex, 2 years of silence later I finally get it
I told everyone my ex was fine and the breakup was mutual. My friend Marcus kept saying something was off about her. I stopped picking up his calls in March 2023. Blocked him everywhere by summer. He texted me once from a new number: "She did the same thing to my cousin." I laughed it off. Then last Tuesday I ran into his cousin at a gas station in Mesa. She pulled out her phone and showed me screenshots. Same lines. Same timeline. Same fake crying voice notes. Marcus was not crazy. He was just early. I owe him the biggest apology of my life and I do not know how to send it after 2 years of silence. Has anyone here ever had to crawl back to someone they burned over a person who was not worth it?
