Had a 14 hour day last Friday and sold out of everything by 2pm
Honestly last Friday was the best day my shop has had in 3 years. A restaurant owner named Carla from down on 5th street came in at 6am and bought 40 pounds of pork shoulder for a party, then the lunch crowd wiped out my ground beef and all my chicken thighs before 2pm. I was wiped out but man it felt good to lock the door knowing I didn't have to toss anything. Tbh I keep trying to figure out what made that day different, was it the flyer I put up at the laundromat or just dumb luck? Anyone else ever have a random day like that and actually pin down why?
You ever notice how some days everything just clicks and you can't explain it? It's like the universe decides to send every hungry person your way at once, and then you spend weeks trying to recreate it with flyers and sales that don't do anything. Sometimes good days are just good days and the harder you chase the reason, the more it slips away.
